It's interesting to hear. I've made a few posts in the past about how it seems that those who are clearly making money seem to hint that they trade market neutral strategies, trade pairs, trade complicated options plays, trade volatility rather than price direction, trade arbs etc etc. Direction...

Options traders who do well seem to often be betting on volatility rather than predicting on whether its gonna go up or down, and use all kinds of complicated options strategies to do so. I do t think I know of any profitable futures traders here, but there are a few options/volatility traders...

I feel that there's such a ubiquitous underlying bullish bias to the ES, that any gains on a short trade are a gift to be gratefully snatched!
