+403, on 142k shs. afternoon rally beat me up good. was up solid, and figured the market was overdue to close on its highs, but stuck to the systems, regardless.

-137, on 88k shs. getting good at break-even. held off, held off, held off on some drillers -- and even then when i got in, they continued down, and down and down. will be watching them on the open, and hopefully a nice gap down print to start.

+171, on 89k shs. done early today - IMA really beat me up, so fortunate still to be roughly break-even on the day. always a win IF you can get exposure, and walk away flat.

+6,731 on 78k shs. Consistent day, from all trading. Darn boring day, however for market being down good.

+1,563 on 255k shs. TGIF> Nightmare week dealing with technology issues etc. could of been a rough day, fortunately caught some issues early. positive PnL week, so I ll take it. Have great weekend, all.

-3k. major software issues, today. it was all my losses for today. spent all day, trying to figure out my issues. it appears it was all my fault as i have been slamming my data server. got fix, and back at it tomorrow.

-501, on 237,500 shs. actually pleased with today's performance. started down solid, and slowly worked myself out of a hole. fortunately, did not step in-front of the afternoon train. always happy to nearly break-even with market exposure, any day.

go look at the thread from 2 - 3 years ago, as I posted daily for nearly one year! i used this thread to motivate myself, and make contacts with other traders. now i chat daily with some traders, who are real consistent and good and that motivates me daily!

+4146, on 247k shs --- you have to be joking with your mindset! this month so far has been the best month of trading since late 2008, for day traders! all the traders i talk with daily are working their tail-off making coin ---- who cares about being criticized, or praised. you work, focus and...

after 10+ years -- only income from trading --- I am still learning today as much as I did when I first started. you have to be good with details and observation, and enjoy the HARD WORK! profits don't come from laziness.

I agree, but so far the opportunity to buy real asset(s) on the cheap are not materializing. govt. / banks holding them up....

you are not going to get spoon feed, a profitable system -- ever. why, not take a vacation -- travel somewhere, enjoy the ocean, relax -- and THINK! I am not trying to attack, etc. if you are going to make it, you can only rely on yourself. there are enough "gems" of ideas, right here on ET...

use the fear to motivate! even after 10 yrs of full time trading, with NO other source of income - I still face the idea of uncertainty with profitability - weekly. IT never goes away - so learn how to harness the fear for good --- you will realize quickly that you need a few different systems...

some real good, input from others for trading while traveling --- i just started to use remote desktop, to my main PC on my last trip to Poland, and it worked great. There are some tweaks you can do, to speed up order sending etc. FYI

IMO, you can't officially call it off -- because you still have crazy deficit spending! as the debt continues to grow, and future tax revenue declines -- trans. tax is fair game. Might be awhile, but you can't rest assured it is dead.
