#1 value of prior day charts is to see pd high; best to trade above it/ "out" vs in charts, like PDD yesterday; agree re current day liquidity most important, so i also use pd chart to see same-time volume vs current day: also helps avoid false b/o's, i often wait til .2 - .3 above pd high...

for decades i've used prior day hi/low/close, and whole numbers, and mean reversions/50% pullback levels

Given it cost nothing to trade stocks with many brokers now, are you modifying your approach to day trading? Share your thoughts... ideas: + more frequency with tighter stops + larger or smaller size? + avoiding under- vs overtrading + scalping vs intraday swings etc

I love IB and have traded on TWS for well over a decade. But now I like Fidelity & TD Ameritrade, since they are now zero commish and no "lite" platform restriction. I'll be sadly leaving IB unless they provide TWS & no commissh. fwiw Fidelity's trading platform/Active Trader Pro works fine...

t/a is very secondary in importance compared to the math (position sizing & tiny stops) t/a which while helpful to identify high-probability setups is Much less critical x10 than trade management
