I've been watching USD/JPY today. Do you have a daily A level that you're using for it? I'm very green with FX, but starting to pay more attention to it. I know domicile market is one of the biggest considerations as per Fish, but are there any standard primers that you can recommend Mav?

Looks like FXY is optionable, but the spreads are a little wide. Might just make sense to look at the shares, (again, understanding that it's rather illiquid). JYF, JYN, and YCL/YCS are extremely illiquid Just in case you don't/can't trade FX... Mav, any suggestions on any of these, or...

Wasn't one of Fisher's trader long anything against Yen? Also, the volume in CCJ has been really nice. That Fish sure knows a thing or two...

Bonds are getting crushed here. If they bust through the weekly OR, this could be nuts

One of those "quiet" failed weekly A downs yesterday: ANF nice gap up today.

I was thinking the same thing, the S&P hung in there and the ES even tacked on some gains over night. I would have thought that bonds would have taken an inverse hit, but they sort of hung around. The A's, (both monthly and weekly) are having that magnetic effect that you often talk about...

I typically start with a top down look from sector ETFs into the brighter spots in the market, looking at both a monthly and a 30 day rolling number line. I guess maybe because I'm using a 30 day and monthly number line I could be excluding momentum. I like to see a monthly A before I start...
