The first part of April caused my systems some drawdown. It was well within historical testing drawdown, but more than I have experienced in the past eight months or so.

Guess I'm in the minority here but I sometimes average into losing positions. My largest losses have been on after hours news, not from averaging in. Of course I have had some nice gains on news as well.

I use Neoticker and WealthLab. Have tried TradeStation and AmiBroker. I recommend giving Neoticker a try. Works with IB and others, develop systems with scripting languages or IDE like Borland Delphi.

Anyone using NeoTicker RT to automate a strategy with IB? If not any more feedback on the RT version?
