    The 10,000 hour rule.

It takes 10 000 hours of deliberate practice, not just pressing a few keys and following the motions. Most people maybe even all people cannot manage more than 2-3 hours of deliberate practice before they are exhausted. Problem in trading is that you get very little deliberate practice and...

Bill Gross recommends front running Uncle Sam?

Ask yourself what if the S&P stays where it is for another decade and bond yields wander aimlessly for the next decade. Then longs on equities who are all excited by the run up lose their shirts while the shorts who believe it will drop get handed their backsides from the negative carry...

    Kospi's Nightmare Settle: Aug 13, '09

Testy testy for one who asks questions on this forum, learn some manners you troll. So all the shares in the Kospi pay their dividends between December and March close outs? and the market knows exactly what all 200 dividends payments are likely to be?

A true SUPER Laissez-faire 100% free 0% government intrusion economy.

Not sure what the answer is, but been thinking lately that since I will never vote with the majority, what exactly is the point of democracy, I will always be subject to someone else's will. But, be that as it may I am pretty disillusioned with all this globalisation, rescue of incompetent...

    Long put, long theta

Is it very deep in the money? Often when puts are very deep in the money the BS curve crosses below the payoff so if you sell it you sell it for less than the intrinsic (payoff) hence it makes sense to just keep it and earn the time value.
