Your short from 1417 and if and when we reach 1317 you will have made a 2% return. Is that what you consider a home run? DMartin

70 points translates into around 5% of the S&P which was gained in only 6 days. Compound anything close to that over a years period and you get the message--correct? If that is not a grand slam what would qualify one? Nonetheless, if you are comfortable and happy giving up 60-70 point gains...

Buy1Sell2: Your exit strategies are interesting to say the least. You shorted your full position at 1511--had an unrealized gain at around +71 points and we are now approaching where you shorted. From my vantage point entries are important but it is the exits that define excellent trading...

Pekelo, Forgot to mention what has me still in the bear camp (for the moment) and that is the Advance/Decliners on both the NYSE and NASDAQ. This was a future induced run up without real buying and that can be seen in the Breadth. Should be interesting trading tomorrow. Let The Good...

Well, I was quite shocked at the reversal. You could quite possibly be correct in your analysis and I will wait a bit longer before acknowledging an upward trend. DMartin

Don't think we are in an uptrend. All major indexes appear to me controlled by supply with the one exception being the Nasdaq 100 which is weakening now and has simply been a function of RIMM, AAPL and GOOG and their extensive capitalization. DMartin
