Just FYI, IRT now has true volume bars. Now that it does I am interested in why true volume bars are so important. Does anyone have any threads or URLs on them?

I get so tired of seeing people point out "lagging" indicators...bottom line...everything is a "lagging" indicator. You can look at current price action and current volume action and follow the hard right edge...you are looking at current or historical period...because that's all there is.

What's buggy about Investor/RT charts? I have no problems and I frequently have more than 35 charts open looking at different markets...mix of MP, FP(volume), and traditional charts...no problems. Perhaps it is your hardware or you don't have things setup properly. P.S. Investor R/T...

I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I think IRT charts are far superior to Ensign and Sierra charts...I am not sure why those would be touted as better charting packages. I personally prefer a well rounded charting package and IRT pretty much does it all.

Just wanted to bring up a small point about index futures and volume. Volume doesn't directly drive an index future (key word being directly). This means an index future will rise and fall based on the underlying...not the buying/selling pressure of the instrument itself (as in an equity)...
