    Anyone trades with quad core?

Dual dual cores here. CPU usage is very low. No point in upgrading to quad cores right now.

    CME/CBOT exchange fee's

May still have to pay seperate fees. Nymex is on Globex but you have to pay for Nymex products seperately. Nybot is on ICE, but you have to pay seperately.

how would a non-profit prop firm llc structure work, could it work?

Since they specialize in futures, they should really look into opening up in Chicago. I'm guessing a lot of people would leave their futures prop firms there for a set-up like that.

    How does Prop Work?

Yes they exist. Mostly in Chicago, but some elsewhere. Not as plentiful as leveraged retail.

    How does Prop Work?

The situation described is not a real prop firm but a leveraged retail firm. In a true prop situation the trader makes no initial contribution and the firm takes all of the losses.

My Experience at a Prop Firm

My post was more directed at Don. I just thought it was stupid that he was laughing at that particular trade just because Bright trading didn't participate, when I'm sure with with the many years he's been involved with trading he's seen his share of edges come and go. I agree, it's stupid...

My Experience at a Prop Firm

I have no idea when you started trading. All I meant was that you probably got into the numbers game at the end of it. Why do I think that? 1. I'm guessing you worked for Refco Trading Services (Macfutures) when it opened up in the US - this was at the end of the numbers game 2. You...

I think it's a lost cause. If it gets unbearable here I would just get ready to leave.

    San Diego futures/itrading

I think they offer both now, but you'll have a hard time getting into the prop group unless you have a track record.
