stocon, I set it to 4,16,6 and use the 10 min charts. If you dont see the waves with this time frame, change it to 5 min.

As their name imply, indicators show a possible direction. I found out that MACD works well on an intraday basis. Particularly when a stock tanks MACD indicates when it is ready to rebound. Not a completely safe bet but I would say it is accurate 75% of the time.

Not necessarily since their liquidity is high enough. You will have executions problems with volume <50K

The uptrend is over now. I closed all my positions. So many divergences took place today. Didnt enter any short positions yet.

If you follow the trend, you don't care where the bottom or top is.

I like EBAY and MIK. I also get daily picks from longbulltrading.com. GS is good too but has a higher price.

If you trade index such as QQQ and DIA, swing trades are more appropriate because they move slower. With volatile stocks, daytrades are the best and safest way to make money.

I already closed all of them. So I am not worried.

jturner, You're doing good with QQQ. I sold short AMG, AXP, and TLB and made about $800. Not too bad for a single day.:D

You're right. Wait to see if there are any follow-through. It may just be another sucker rally.
