Keep in mind the MAJORITY of people don't want to understand the markets. They are intimidated by it all and that's why there are a lot of rich stock brokers.

Thanks for your input. I have read quite a bit on here since I posted. I guess I'm just trying to figure out the best route. Prop. or on my own. I have the capital but lack experience. Most of what I've read has been neg. towards props.

My only concern is bankruptsy. You get Moody's and Fitch throwing out down grades there goes the whole sector. This could be a long weekend.
