My understanding is if you join a pro firm, at the end of the year you get a K-1 form that basically lists your profit (loss) for the year, and that's it. In other words, the basic information would be your name, tax ID#, and just one number for P(L). Is this correct?

Why don't you go to your local library and look to see if they have Series 7 study books? They may be a few years old, but you could look through there and see what kind of information is on the test. Plus you can study the material for free (picking and choosing what you want to learn), skip...

I do see that they increased the amount of shares you need to trade per month to get free software form 150k to 250K. Those are good rates, though. I like seeing this trend.

I once saw a price discrepancy on TESTB after hours where the bid was a lot higher than the ask. Of course I arbitraged it, and made a quick thousand bucks! Too bad you can't keep your profits from test stocks.
