I actually disabled the router and ran it directly to the modem the time was cut in half. So far this seems to be the problem. Perhaps I'll invest in a vista friendly router

I tried it and I have no idea what I'm looking at. The issue isn't my Internet Service Provider however, it's my machine. My brand new one is ping twice as high as my old machine they are running the same cable service and using the same router.

Lightspeed sucked today.. Latency stuck quotes.. felt like I was trading on dial-up very dissapointed

Had issues with lightspeed all day. Pissed me of I had a good day and had issues with serious latency and stuck quotes.. then proceed to give everything back

cut down if your not comfortable. I trade 200 shares, if I'm net pos, next day go up to 300, if net pos go to 400..etc. etc. if I'm down a day I cut my max down by a hundred. This seems to work for me
