If you are trading TA, my opinion is to simply forget all the outside funnymentals (execpt certain report days). As stevet said, simply watch the market, get a feel for what it does after certain patterns, etc. learn to react and not predict and you should come out ok.

I hate to point out the obvious, but we can all trade charts at the end of the day. Based on your chart, I would think that just below the previous bar would be the place to put your stop, and if each line is a tick then you are looking at 2x your stop.

The new continuum client will run the 4.1 version. If you run the client update it will update any previous version. (I only inlcude 4.1 in the "any previous versions") I am currently running it.

Thats what puts traders on each side of a trade. If one was to buy the high or sell the low of the first bar, on that chart you posted, one would have been profitable. If one would have faded the high of the first bar, one would have been profiable also. Fading, top or bottom picking...

Just a guess, but after 30 min, you have a finished 30 min time period. Somewhere in the previous 30 min there is a high.. Again it is a simple buy strength and sell weakness.
