I live in Washington DC and trade the euro at night but it is mostly noise. I am doing fine with it but need something that trades well between 7 pm and midnight EST. Any ideas? Having a 9-5 really gets in the way of making real money.......

Yeah if I knew when I was down 100 that I was certain to make 267 points for a 167 point profit. A 100 point drawdown is not how I want to live my life.....the stress simply isnt worth it to make a minimal profit.

Do your fans also watch Jim Cramer as you two geniuses battle for 12 year olds on youtube? A 100 point drawdown in these markets is not acceptable.

Cramer is a genius.........he gets paid $2 million a year to be wrong 90% of the time. How many of you get paid to be wrong?

Thanks thats good to know. The issue would then become the fact that I only have a $2000 account and their new minimum is $5000 so I doubt I can close and reopen a new account. That second trade is now almost $4 in my favor but I can see the bounces so I got out just before a $1 dead cat...

The answer is you cannot trade two different options in the same day. I traded two different strikes on OIH and IB counted that as two day trades. Frustrating as hell becasue I really "see" OIH. I shorted a few pennies from the top twice and covered a few pennies from the bottom....twice...

This will sound harsh but it seems like neither system works. Becasue you never know when the drawdown will end, re-allocating the money is a trade in and of itself. What if you take money out of the system that is in drawdown..right before that ends and move it into the system that is just...

As much as OIH moves in a given day...and gaps overnight, I think daytrading options may be viable. I dont want to hold this overnight. I have next week off from my 9-5 and will see if I can make a few trades...on different strikes or expirys. Of course I am really not worried about...

Actually...at least with Interactive Brokers....they are. I have been shut down twice doing that. I was dumb though and traded the same option. Since OIH moves so much.....I should be able to daytrade the option....i may just switch the strike or expiry to get around that...hopefully.

If I day trade options on the OIH.....does it violate the $25,000 day trading rule if I get in and out of different options? If I get in and out of a 175 call...and then in and out of a 170 call.....does that count as two day trades or one day trade of two different things? Since I am not...
