If you see it trade at 40699 know that I will be out and I will be done for the day also. Stop loss at 40699 and take profit at 41000. If it moves to new highs before stopping me out, I will take one off at 40800.

Went into @schizo mode and "flipped long" at what had been my short entry. Stop is 40694, take profit at 4100. The actual result will probably be an exit somewhere between those two levels.

I made my target and then some in the prop account on NQ. Tradovate chart is a mess so I'll keep it to myself. This is my own personal account. Short 2 YM at 40734. Stop is high of day, and take profit is low of day.

I don't know what it means for the markets. I would think that this now makes Trump even more likely to win in November as the Dems have just given up one key advantage that they had: incumbency.

I trade mostly ES, but also NQ and YM. I find the opening 10 minutes to be the most reliable and profitable of the day. I also find using the high and low of the first 30 minutes or 60 minute range useful as it often marks entries for breakouts of that range and reversals back into that range.

Yesterday weak YM and strong NQ pre-market. Then they dumped NQ and pumped YM at the open, and then dumped everything after the first hour. Will today rhyme with yesterday?

Now that was neat. Dump YM and pump NQ premarket, and then reverse both at the open. Today is going into my trader's notebook.

So far today is shaping up to be an NQ day. But I missed the dip buy and now it is at the Globex high. Maybe best to wait until the stocks open?

YM AM dip buy. Long at 41433, stop is at 41437. Profit target is again the Globex open. I would not be surprised if it doesn't come back down to the low od day again for a final daily bottom. It also wouldn't surprise me if it rips back to yesterday's high. If I'm stopped I'll happily buy...

I'd believe you. But you're probably smart to keep it to yourself. Congrats! I've not been checking in as much the last few days as it seems politics has come out its borrow and infiltrated the main pages of the forum. I try to keep that stuff as far out of my mind as I can.

I wonder what affect options expiration will have, if any, on the short term indexes? Is it having an affect right now? Spent the afternoon doing some visual review of the YM. It does seem tamer than the NQ, and more resolute in general than the ES. YM and NQ have the same $5 tick size...

Amazing leg up on the YM. It's in its own little world. I did well on the ES but it didn't make it easy. Yesterday I did ok on the NQ, but again, it didn't make it easy. Maybe I didn't make it easy yesterday. YM seems to trend better when it is trending and range better when it is ranging...
