Is there a hedge fund site, similar to this one, where this is a discussion board, etc. Most sites, charge hefty fees, such as IIWealthManagement.com, Hedge Fund Center, Hedge Fund Assn. etc.
Does anyone have a list of Hedge Funds in South Florida? I would even be willing to pay you if you can get access to the hedge fund websites that have lists or employment lists. Or, Institutional Investor magazine access, etc.
Send me a Private Message.
Thx,
Dave
Does anyone know which moving average crossovers produce the best entry points? I use 20/50 MA crossover on stocks, does this work with e-minis as well.
i had a similar post a few months ago, and was told of prop firms in boca: bright, schonfeld, redwood(ft laud), barkley, e-trade professional. there are 3 firms in the amtrust building(behind cheescake factory) on glades near the mall(including e-trade).
Thanks Jimmy.
Caplan, the reason that I posted a second thread is because no one really answered my question with actual numbers. Everyone is afraid to talk about salary around here. The board is anonymous, and I wasn't afraid to post my salary, so why are you? All I'm looking for are honest...
Met with prop firm and they told me that 1st year traders have a hard time making a living, typical trader might make $20k. Is this true?
What can a good trader expect to make after 2-3 years?
Would you leave a $50k safe job to try to make it at a prop firm?
I'm ready to make the leap.
Ebo,

His best move was buying the Red Sox and fenway park, too bad he didnt fork out the money for...
I guess i'm a moron, because I own Quadriga B and I don't even know what a drawdown is. Please explain, and is that the rigth tiem to add new money? I have more cahs to add to help diversify from my equity holdings.

P.S. Anyone know of any other hedge fund or managed account that has low...
Has anyone backtested buying the closing prices of when the 20 day MA crosses the 50 day MA? It seems that most of the trades I do, or trending stocks that I'm in all began when the 20 day crossed the 50 day. I know this seems too simple, so help me out here.
Look at the Dow(DJII) on a daily...
