You can request for a second user to be created in the account management website. The second user must then subscribe to data (in the account management website logging in as the second user) to be able to see quotes and to trade. From the way they explained it the second user on the account...

2000i is no longer sold...now it's TS 8 which requires a brokerage acct. Google tS 2000i, you can usually find tons of people selling it. Also try ebay....

IB is much cheaper and allows routing to multiple ECNs or SMART routing. The only way I'd use Scottrade is for mutual funds, but even then they lose a small % of the fund orders since they're manually processed. Move to IB....
