Before I try to figure it out, does anyone know if the IB 1099 for futures includes trades on foreign exchanges or if it only includes US trades? For example would FTSE 100 or DAX gains/losses be included?

Sentimentrader.com has a ROBO put/call ratio that tells you aggregate numbers of retail only put and call purchases. But that's aggregate for the whole market.

Fidelity just reiterated your points, you need to meet one of the standard conditions to terminate the plan. So unless I fold my LLC and then re-create it again I'm stuck (which I might consider if I had more cash in it).

Does anyone know off the top of your head if I can rollover my self-employed 401k (currently with Fidelity) to an IRA (with IB) but leave the 401k open for future contributions?

I am sure I am the absolute last person to figure this out, but just in case I'm not.... If you earned more than the Roth IRA contribution limit in 2009 (and earlier but there's nothing you can do about earlier years) you can still make a nondeductible IRA contribution and starting this year...

True.....but you can also get a larger move which theoretically could be more likely to hit wide stops. I guess the reason I won't do it is the fact that every time will be different and even if it works 10 times there's no way to know if it will work again.....

I was considering running stops on my own (drop a large order into a thinly trader futures market after hours, such as platinum, palladium, etc). The idea would be to run stops, classic style. Has anyone tried this? Think I'd get my ass handed to me?

CL has much greater depth behind it, if you're trading more than 1 contact you have less slippage trading CL than QM. Also QM periodically will have spikes far away from the CL price at that time (20-30 cents or more) so consider yourself warned.
