Covered today @ 1243 for scraps, but better than losing. I don't see how the Ro10 can survive in these current conditions. How are you all faring? I'm surprised that I'm +1200$ this week.

Well, after a week like this week, I don't see how the government can *not* have to CPR the two companies.

2050 points? x 50$ = 102500$ I'm not in the same league as you, that's for sure!

Me, and I have another position from higher above. Current average is 1241.25 on 2 contracts. Both times I wanted to settle for scraps gains but my work and IB webtrader closing sessions (what the hell is up with that?) kept me from monitoring my trades closely, as this day surely required it...

Indeed my short-term charts said down but we have a concrete floor in the 1250-1260 area. A bounce would be nice, but we've been there so many times that imo the whole 1250-1300 segment is a big danger zone. Wish we would break out of it already. Well I'm off to work so can't post, but...

Short from 1276.25 near 6pm just got covered @ 1271.25 (1 contract) I'm suspecting more downside but want to play safe for now.

There was a nice h&s pattern this morning coupled with a negative divergence. I was strongly biased into believing that we were in for a strong up day, and being at work didn't allow me the opportunity to take it. And the beige book of death @ 2pm didn't help my courage.

trying to get filled 1276.25 (missed the .50 by 5 mins). That's a good place to go short, as I see negative divergence on the histo. Edit: I'm in. Edit2: Today's move of the day was Pekelo's call to short @ 1281. Unfortunately I was: 1- Biased to the long side 2- At work 3- Affraid...

Reaction high (if you can call it that) at 77.75 and reaction low @ 71.50, so: -Possible long at 67.75 -Possible short @ 81.50 I gave up yesterday's trade because I was unsure how the oil drop from post-Gustav would play on the market. I would have made money though, because: 1- At the...

New reaction low @ 1275.50, so short trigger @ 1285.50 Hope we get there before the open, so that it will fade early on.

Or enter trades that coincides with R10 signals :P Not a bad day overall, but I didn't *feel* it, so no trades. Heck, wondering if I should wait till after labor day too. Btw are we using the absolute high/low or the ones at close? My high shows 1285.25 @ 12:45-1:00pm and 1276.25 low @...

I agree with you both. I should have worded my issue more properly: what I mean is that my entries now are really close to turning points, whereas my exits aren't. I'm currently trading with 1 or 2 positions max, so scaling out isn't readily possible most/all of the time.

What's the entry method? and how does it differ from the reaction high/low method (which I assume that is what I'm using) Yesterday was a very nice day, too bad I only took one swing at it (real money). My work kept me busy and away from active trading screen. That and the network had...

So following your logic, if that 71 area comes around again (testing support for example), I should take it (72.75 & 70.75), since technically I should have been on the ride?

    Rule of 10 Journal

Yeah missed it, what happens in those situations? Do I follow up with the posted setups or wait for that missed opportunity to play itself out to "be back in sync"? Also, in this situation (where my new reaction high is lower than the previous one), should I set up a trade @ 71 or is it "too...
