Thanks for your view! Personally, I don't see the H&S... where's the neckline? I have to admit that it's a bit of playing with fire. The only thing I'm affraid of is that gap from yesterday's close, but on the 15 it seems to want to head up. I'll place a sell stop @ 1210 (in case it...

? I'm too scared for a 1200 bid, but I have a buy @ 1189, as I feel rather comfortable at that level. I'm ready to hold that through the weekend if I must. goddammit the NQ is cratering (RIMM probably), but the ES is sitting on the brick wall that is the 15Min MA200. Make like Humpty...

Bailout fails and the 5pt premium is still there  Going long @ 1200 (maybe?) if it goes down there. Can it go to 15min 200ma @ 1199? Strong support @ 1188-ish... Plunge baby plunge!

Man, that 5pt premium is annoying the heck out of me. On the 15min chart it has potential strength, but on the 60min it's bouncing on the 200ma and could turn down ugly... Tempted to place a long big @ 1210...

Rimm Set for a Crash ?

Crud, was hopefull for RIMM until I saw Regal's post. 100 shares (on the TSX), sad to see money go nonetheless

Seems that the Buffet news can't hold this up for long if congress is spitting out that bailout plan. On the 60min we still haven't broken out of that downward trendline, though we're at the resistance part of it. Support shows up @ 1175-ish (1175.50?). Are we going to visit last...

I agree to a certain degree. When Buffet walks the walk people tend to notice and act accordingly. Wish I was long in GS now...

15:30? Wow that's late. I expected 10:00-10:30... Now what will happen to the markets till then...? I'm off to work and to staring at the IB webtrader and shitty 15min delayed charts where I pluck on some delayed indicators...

The only good news is that we're sitting on the 60min 200sma on both the YM and ES (is that even a good news?) and that RSI is low (but could get lower, since it's not critically low). I don't know if it was IB lag but yesterday the S&P opened @ 1255 and the futures showed 1240, and I was...

Dammit! I knew we'd go close that gap today! Traded/hesitated like an ass and didn't do squat for the day except for a tiny scalp and going long at the wrong time into the close (I expected a bounce).

Scaling in long or short? On the 60 and daily I see the charts going up before going down, and 1280-1300 is much closer than 1130-1170. Ideal scenario would be a gap up and have the markets slamming it down all the way to the lows filling both gaps, but that's a "scenario" amongst others...

I mean the one from 9/18-9/19, that huge gap up we did by hitting the AH ES upper limit.

So are we creating another 20-30 pt gap to close the previous one from 1206?

    Rule of 10 Journal

Good to hear that blast didn't kick you back to 2007. I was worried about your situation as I appreciate your posts. Never forget that you're NOT a multi-billion dollar institution, so no governmental white knight will appear to save you. :D  I lost most of my week's gains today, and...

The low in S and P futures has been seen tonight

Can you elaborate? I'm a new IB user and don't really understand their message. And do you personally think we hit the low?

Low of 1215.50 on the Z8

That may be in the process, are you seeing the rise? Man, bought 1 contract @ 1221.25 when it opened, saw it go up to 1232 and thought "Nah, it's going to go higher" and lost the trade. Damned if you hold, damned if you exit... woe is me. I still believe we'll go visit Friday's closing...
