What a day! Made about 3 times more than usual, and did it by selling the 2 NQ contracts I was holding through the chop. I feel all :D :D :D Overall I'm just happy I bet on the good side, the past few weeks sure strained me. Them kamikaze-bulls were relentless. I'd like this baby to...

Heya Star, nice to see you back. I sold 1 of my 2 NQ contracts at the price I wanted, but missed like 10 billion swings doing it today. A day like this must be a trader's dream...

Still a sheep looking for consistency. Usually the NQ is not too shabby (though it's rather dry) in following the ES with some form of multiplier.

Geh, 891 was all we could afford? Goddammit, should've covered at the low (playing the NQ, which didn't even make a new low)... The way the market's going lately, a 5% rise tomorrow wouldn't surprise me

So you think we're not exactly there yet? Been short today and got my ass whooped. Still short... ***Bahhh***

is 872-873 real resistance or a temporary rest-stop? Just went short 1 contract on the NQ

I'm surprised, I did pretty decent today. I left my position too early and left half on the table, but overall read the markets well. These past couple of weeks have been good to me even though I make very little trading. Alas it won't last too long...

 Right direction, right timing, wrong horse  My jaw just dropped when the NQ held up while the ES and YM dropped like rocks. Luckily I unloaded half my position on the low (one of the big boys had pity on me and skimmed my upper stop), but I was expecting a lot more downside...

Isn't this starting to look like a huge IHS in the making? What would be the right shoulder target? 750-ish? On another note I finally see why B1S2 said 940...

Down-Up-Down-Up-Drop... Damn wanted to enter near the close but I missed most of the day, so I didn't have a feeling of the market... Aside from that, the indexes have expressed big back-and-forth swings intraday lately, is this the new norm or simply a short-term event?

      GODDAMN! Today was my dream day! If it weren't for my work I believe I would have done superbly considering my trading style! Argh, my most missed opportunity was shorting at the top, but I had to step away from the screen for 15 mins, so I decided to...

Ah damn, didn't see that second one :(

S&P daily pivots and break-down & up Targets

Were today's numbers correct? They seemed totally off: the ES was barely down 5-9 pts this morning and we were below the lowest target... When I read the numbers, I just went

About today's action: Damn! Still kicking myself for having missed the train! I saw the -2 on the ES last night on the open and thought "This thing will probably pop to the 870-875 area before falling, let's enter then" only to have it slide and never look back. I wanted to short the NQ...

Hey, I resent that representation  :( I definitely do not copy anyone here, with the simple argument that had I did, I would have a lot more than what I have currently :D The simple point is that I have learned a lot from this thread, and over time have identified the posters who's...

First off, Star, I hope that you will break that promise. I really like to follow your calls, and as long as you clearly, sincerely state your opinion, no need to bet anything on it. I'm already sad that Pekelo dissapeared... :( Now, Friday was a dissapointment, I was short in the mid 60s...

Heya Joe, can you give your opinion on where we stand mid-term? Do you think the low will be tested? Also, in your emails, the date is 1 day late :P

So it's 85 or 25? Pretty good day today, the first in a long-ass while... 666 seems so far away.... B1S2, any updates on your view of the market?

Yeah, it really pisses me off. I'd take profits if we were 20 pts lower... But at this level, I feel like I'm leaving some on the table...
