A final word on AVG ... program is Free and they send updates almost daily ..... you just cant beat that ....

All I know is from my experience .. Used "House Call" from Trend Micro after being a loyal Norton user for several years and found several viruses on my computer. Now that I use AVG I haven't found 1 ......

If you want to see how bad of a program NAV is just uninstall it and do a system scan with AVG .......Dont be surprised to find several viruses and trojans running.... See for yourself its a free test.

You mentioned that your sys makes a good initial profit in the am and then tends to chop till the afternoon when I assume it catches the late day trend and makes another good run at profitability.........is it possible you could have the system pause at some time in the am and then kick back on...

Do away w/ the auto-exit function. For someone who trades various markets there is no real "good time" to have the system exit out .....make it the default function to exit out and if the user wants to override this function make it available. I posted this one a few pages back as well ...
