Does anyone know of a Spot FX Dealer that will trade the Rand. I thought there was a relatively liquid spot market for it ... at least there was when I was a dealer ... anyway checked IB, Tradestation and GAIN and got no joy.

Thats an understatement when that s' starts to move the depth goes to ntg x ntg and if your getting out of more then 1 your gonna be hurting in the slippage column.

You can count me in and its been working well. I only do daily trades so dont have the volume of some of the other scalpers posting however given my strategy its worked out as I had hoped.

If your into using a Instant Messenger during your trading day try using Triallian ...it allows you to use AIM/Yahoo/ICQ/MSN Messenger all at the same time. Combines all contacts together and uses minimal resources...platform is similar in look to AIM...

Only thought I would add to the previous post speaking of number of trades during your test period is this ... be cognoscente of the number of trades in your sample vs the average win..... you may find that as the number of winners goes up your average win goes down ... way down and you run the...

You can get in and out of a 50 lot during the regular session w/ almost no slippage.

To be honest, and this is a shame I can't say for sure becuase it was my biggest 1 day winner (although I do remember my biggest 1 day loser) but that sounds about right......

I've been trading the ES since 2000.....with the exception of 1 instance ...... I had slippage after a "between meeting fed announcement". Other then that the most slippage I've taken is a 1/2 tic on a 20 lot

Just as an aside ... It sucks that this program which if run properly could be a seriously nice program. There is no getting around poor customer service ... In this business that is a killer.... the foot dragging w/. respect to updates to the program w/ any real improvements is a joke ...
