p2, I did load up 9k around 9.50-9.51, sure hard to get my order fill for 5k lot. It was nice, sold around 10.20-10.50 range. Made $7000+ on it. Knew it is going higher. It is like CLS yesterday, I had 9k CLS but got shake out. Before seeing CLS going up 1.5 points higher.

Dustin, I wonder what kind of strategy you use for scalping. One of my who use to scalp 1k shares for 1/16 or 1/8. After Nasdaq go decimal, she cannot make money any more. I am just curious how you manage to scalp and made money in this decimal trading market.

Hitman, At least you can tell easily from Level II for wide spread stock. MM do spread the stock a few point, but with Level II it is easier to tell than a wide spread stock on NYSE.

dlincke, If DST happen to be on Nasdaq, the Level II will tell you a bigger picture of who is dumping. Just like PDII during last week free fall of $20 point, this is where Level II come to use.

You don't need a uptick to short QQQ BHH BBH or those indices stock that trade on AMEX.
