No offense, but I'm not sure you have looked deep enough into the issue. I think some are using the flash order information in more complex ways. Market makers, automated or otherwise, have a huge advantage with this information. Algo's and HFT's can be set up right around the flash order...

You are right in a way. I'm a pretty small trader, around 100,000 shares per day. 25% of my trades are troppled by HTF's and alog's because they can see my orders by purchasing flash order information, then drop out their level II bid/offers when the see the orders coming in or manipulate us...

Thanks, i have been a little more selective lately. Some stocks are just plain outright blatant cheats. They are run/traded either by a few big market makers, a rip-off specialist, or very sophisticated algo's. Whatever the con artist, they make the stock impossible to trade for even the best...

I have tried the trailing orders and they do not work either. They still fill me 2-3 up to 10 cents out of the cuurent level II posts. My trading system is set up with the fastest possible business internet access available. I don't think it's a delay from me to where my order alitmately...
