A question about PP1... theoretically it is clearly defined: 3 P1's with acceleration. PLUS an ADDITIONAL requirement (see formula on PP sheet or compare with the formula you gave to Surf). Your software is automatically assigning a "P" in the volume pane where BOTH requirements are true...

Another lateral question... Sometimes you have laterals within laterals. How should this be treated? Should the second (subsequent) lateral(s) be ignored? How should the retro be handled?

Here I also have to scratch my head. According to the volume test procedure bar 12 is a P1 creating a PP1 with bar 10 and 11. Yes, it is also a BO RTL BUT it is missing the T1. Jack tried to make clear to Jered that there MUST be a T1 to consider a "BO RTL/T1". Here are the possibilities...

Could it be that there are two versions of the chart? I see one is showing the "routine" and the other one the "fail safe". In the "routine" version there is the P2. With so many charts flying around it is good to attach the chart (or portions of it) which the question references.

Hi Jack, on the "Change Routine" sheet you seem to have two filters for trend type determination: "Filter 1" and "Filter 2". See enclosed graphic. What are they? I don't remember to have seen them explained, yet.
