in CVX, I noticed that whenever you see institutional size stepping down, it's really shady as I don't know if this has to do with the preception of hybrid but when you front run a size like that, it's not like before where it steps down, down, down, and prints...

ok, i'll go for this... say...in a 5 minute candlestick chart, there might have been tons and tons of prints go off in that 5 minute interval...hopefully that may help... as to short...if there is nothing but red candles one after another...there may be some institutional size or the start...

i have read somewhere that CCI is the only indicator that uses real time price in it's forumula whereas other indicators are lagging...

I mainly uses it for equities but yes, it is the "commodities" index so it should be versitle. I combine it with full stochastics as if cci is making a move but the stochastic is already oversold, I would not short it. vice versa.

hey thanks for pitching in, I am mainly focused on intraday position trading. But yes, sometimes size get sin my face but when I really think about it, if that size is in the openbook, it's probably the last that he has so it will just be a short term drawdown.
