It does seem a bit of a gamble to short at this level. The last time it was this low, in Dec/Jan, it bounced back up ~300 pips in about a week. If its going down from here, it'll go down at least 100 pips, so you'll have plenty of time to get confirmation.

Are you aware of actual demand for sugar in industrial ethanol production? My understanding is that it is far cheaper to produce ethanol from natural gas. Surely it would take a very severe shortage of gas to make ethanol production from sugar more economic?

Oanda's platform works from a web browser and seems to be fine with restricted privileges, although it runs as a Java applet so these will need to be enabled in the browser. It also will connect via a proxy server if a direct connection is blocked by a firewall. The connection to the server...

It seems that with Oanda you could put on more limits orders than you could acutally afford. Presumably when the second order is reached it would be cancelled NSF. But why would you want to bet your entire account on a single trade?! Are you really in that much of a hurry?
