Gold poised to break down again. I thought there was a possibility of panic and a rush to the yellow metal, but it looks like that's passed for now. I'm short Euro from 1.1342 after getting stopped above 1.14.

This trade looks crowded already. Not much panic yet. Need to see some bank fail, or word the authorities need to step in to rescue something. Or rumors of a large hedge fund in trouble. Turkish banks on the ropes--Some other bank is holding the opposite side of that. Probably somewhere in Euro...

Currently short EUR, Cad from just before London close. Still too much left standing. My opinion is that this thing is just getting going. My fear is that someone makes a deal in the middle of the night. Trump playing hard ball, but the Russians are waiting so ultimately I don't think they can...

Need to see more panic spread to everything else. Reminds me a lot of Ruble collapse summer of 98 I believe. You had plenty of time to buy there too. When it reaches the cover of the magazines in the checkout aisle you might want to dip your toe in a bit. Currently short Euro from this am.

Watched as my usdcad position refused to break 1.3023 while EUR and GBP went down. Aussie really stuck as well. Working on a trading idea which says that Aussie and Cad lead USD. I've seen many times where Aussie will not follow Euro, and the move gets cut off. Same with Cad later in the week...

Yes. I'm flat now stopped on Cad. Too choppy. Feels like a bigger move imminent. I don't like trading ahead of announcements.

Short Usdcadat1.2996 after getting chopped up on the long side. Double bottom looks about to break. USD may be weakening, not strengthening as seems to be the prevailing view .

Got stopped on that position. That one kind of stung a bit. At this point I'm thinking the trend in USD is intact. That looked so much like a legitimate break down USD. Thank God for stops, cause I had swallowed the hook. And sinker.
