    Pictures of your trading stations

On a related note... I read quite a while ago on a post on ET that staring at screens all day with a white backround is rough on th eyes. All of my charts and everything else have a gray backround, and it is easier on the eyes

    housing crash

Their attitude is they are making money now and most loans are sold on the secondary mkt. Many of the the savings and loans that keep the loans in their portfolio do not offer interest only loans. I find it sickening when theses loans are marketed as being for a "sophisticated borrower".

    housing crash

I agree. On a related note in some states if after a foreclosure sale there is a deficiency if the borrower can go to court and can show the mkt value of the house is below that of the mortgage the lender can not pursue a deficiency judgement. I remember reading about farmers years ago in...

Zen and The Art of Trading

Great book Larry. So many points rang a bell with trading and made me realize "my" flaws were not unique. It is a great book to always go back to to keep one balanced and avoid going off track.

Win Rate and filters for entry

I realize the more filters you place will narrow the # of trades. True you could have so many filters that you would never place a trade. I'm speaking along the lines of only taking the best signals.

now the correction is over. what do you think to buy some grow faster than others?

Nice post. I think part of the appeal to picking the bottom is that you can usually place these reversal trades with a fairly tight stop , and when you are right you will hopefully be able to hold for a large swing , since you are a strong long and won't be in a hole at the 1st pullback...

    Economic Armageddon ?

Not 100% sure but if one is making mortgage payments in a timely manner , the bank can not call in the loan. Mortgages on some farm property is different ...if the appraised value falls below the mortgage amount the loan can be called in.

    "edge"

Very true , and it only indicates a higher probability , so if a move happens on a trade with no edge , so be it , in the end your edge will prevail.(assuming your edge truly is an edge).
