Trump tests positive for Covid 19

Just shows how conservative America is, on the Right and the Left. The Democratic party had good options, yet stood behind a 77 year old man who doesn't have all his mind to confront a fringe demagogue white supremacist who espouses few if any Republican values, except for pandering to those...

Trump tests positive for Covid 19

He's had plenty of opportunities to catch it, considering he isn't wearing a mask, nearly ever. That it happens now? It suggests he is either faking it or that someone passed it on to him deliberately... I'll reserve judgement on either possibilities.

    Problems with TD Ameritrade

I use US TD Ameritrade and my non American wife uses non US TD Ameritrade and we live abroad. The US and non US platforms are different, with different requirements. I think TD Ameritrade is the easiest for a beginner, with intuitive charts and trading information. I haven't experienced...

California bans sales of gas powered vehicles by 2035

Those leaving California aren't really doing it because they want to, but for economic reasons. The retirees wished they didn't have to pay state taxes, like Florida or Nevada. Others just can't afford living there on their salaries. But I have yet to know someone who left because they don't...

California bans sales of gas powered vehicles by 2035

Yes... From an American perspective I understand your points. We are used to organic change; bigger eats smaller until fat, then hungry and smart comes and conquers. This is why America has a bad education system, a bad healthcare system, a bad infrastructure system, etc... You will notice that...

Republicans have already left the state in troves. Even right wing Orange county is now blue! Still too many Trump loving hillbilly anarchists living in the deserts and forests though.

California became the first state in the nation to make solar mandatory for new houses. Beginning in 2020, newly constructed homes must have solar panels, which could be costly for homeowners. The state estimates that the cost will be offset by savings on utility bills.Feb 17, 2019

I know you obsess about the plug as if you were the only one to know where electric power comes from. Renewables are increasing their % of produced energy and will continue to do so in the coming years. We may also have to look at nuclear again. And of course we will still depend on oil and gas...

    Tesla 2020

As a Tesla trader and believer in Musk's grand project, I was a bit disappointed by this event. Musk knows that enormous speculation surrounded this event and should have managed the message far better than was done there. Lots was left out, from million mile battery, powerpacks, power...

Soon that will be a US and developing world oddity. Even parts of the US will mandate EVs by 2030-35. Soon enough you will have to drive 100 miles to find a gas station in order to drive 200 miles. :D

    The future of battery technology?

I'm not sure about the "unfortunately" part, at least until I'm comfortably retired on Tesla returns! But this certainly has the potential to end human created atmospheric pollution while providing energy to the most remote parts of the world. Mind boggling, really.
