My current setup is two 19" Samsung 191T flat panels and one 17" sony flat screen CRT. The 191Ts have a very thin bezel, and when placed next to each other, almost looks like one large screen. I have a third 191T on order. I'm also ordering the triple monitor stand from Ergotron, so my setup...

Who is Gertsman? And nitro, what area are you in? I'm probably 15-20 min. away if you're anywhere near the city or NW suburbs. You said Gertsman won't let you see him trade. Just wondering, do you let others see you trade? -FastTrader

Frank, I think you wasted 3 hours of trading time. You said you had a protective stop in place, so you staring at the screen didn't help or take away from the trade at all. If you're using protective stops, I would recommend you look for other opportunities instead of micro-managing the trade...

Don't know about swing trade, since I day-trade but I would imagine it can be done if your strategy and buy/sell signals are based on daily charts. You might miss out on a little profit by selling early or not at the perfect time, but I'm pretty sure it can be done. I currently day-trade the...

Steve, my thinking was similar to yours but it only took me 2 days to figure out all the features in TWS. It's really a pretty powerful platform and now I find it easier/quicker than QT. I used to use QT as well. I use a seperate charting application because I'm not impressed QT's charting...

Just wanted to post back that I believe creating a small watch list is definitely worth it. Wouldn't have traded MRVL, MEDI and QCOM today if I had not gone through the charts last night. -FastTrader :cool:

I think it depends on the traders. I trade in a group environment (via chat), and in the morning, everyone posts the symbols of the stocks they're looking to get into. I've posted some very nice winners which has helped others, and they've done the same and spotted good trades for me as well...

Why not just use TWS for everything instead of a combo of QT and TWS? :confused:

Could you provide details on exactly which ATI cards you're running?

Just thought I'd post my findings since it may help someone else reading this post. Basically, most ATI cards require that they be set as the "Primary" video card so I am not able to run two ATI cards on my PC. I ended up ordering a nvidia PCI card. Thanks. FastTrader
