Nope, no back-testing. Only real-time forward testing/trading. I realize I will continuously need to tweak the system based on market conditions, but I can live with that. -FastTrader :cool:

OVERtheLINE, yes I'm very quick at cutting losses, but sometimes too quick. What I mean by that is, sometimes I will cut a loss too quickly and if had held on, it would have turned into a profit. :(

I trade equities, and one problem I've been having is early exits. When I analyze my trades, all of them would have netted me about $500 on 1K shares, but since I exit too early (within 2-4 minutes), my profit is nothing to write home about, and sometimes I even take a loss on a good setup which...

Cool....so if I'm long 1000 sh, and want to close the long position and immediately short, can I just Sell 2000 sh resulting in a net short 1000 sh position? I think this how it works, but just wanted some confirmation from IB or long-time IB users (I've only been using the platform for 2 weeks...

After the last TWS upgrade, my PC gets a blue screen and automatically restarts when I exit out of TWS. This happens with the Stand-alone and the browser version. I've even tried the previous release 796 and I still get this problem. Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas on what I can do to...

Frank, some brokers hold your "stops" on their servers so the MM doesn't see them. Ofcourse, if your stop is near support, the MM already knows it's there, but at least he won't be able to see the exact price. Check with your broker on this. -FastTrader :cool:
