Mup, Would the end of this ED mark your 5 of 3 or 5 of 5 or W-X-Y? :)

Landis, My simple count of the SPX places us somewhere in wave 4 or wave 5..... :) I believe the key question is whether wave 4 is complete. If it is not, then there is a chance of a flat or triangle forming. If wave 4 is complete, then we are in wave 5 now. And looking at the SPX daily...

Here's an update to the possible Flat scenario I made a little while back..... :) The B wave has stayed within 1.236 of A. The important test now is how w1 up would retrace. w1 = 912.92 - 818.69 = 94.23 0.618 retrace of w1 = 854.69 So 854.69 has to hold, else count invalid :D SPX...

That was amazing.... sure got me fooled as I thought it was clean break to a new high....:mad: Anyway, I'm still bullish :D I believe there is some more upside, at least until the start of the ED. That would be about 951.95 in the SPX 30min. It's been an interesting week. :) Thanks...

I have the same target in the SPX at about 964 for a 1:1. However, I'll be keeping in mind some of the ratios below as well : 0.500 917 0.618 928 0.786 944 0.886 953 1.000 964 :) Edit: 905 ALT holds!!!! :D Can't track the charts anymore..... haywire! :mad:

I'm very keen but the charts and trading platforms I use require XP at least....:mad: Do you know of any XP simulator software I can run on top of puppy so I may still use my XP platform software? I've actually gotten a new dual core notebook and installed XP in it...... It's much faster...

I like EDs anytime....as long as we can spot it in advance.... :D I have not studied Elliott fractals but I do believe there is some merit in it. Given the number of EDs we've seen since the Oct 10th low, I think it is highly likely we are still in some sort of ED right now. I can't...

On the SPX 15min chart, w1 = 41.09 w3 = 36.99 w5 = 52.71 So clearly it cannot be a complete 5 waves up. Is there one last leg up? :confused: If it were an ABC in the same chart, then, A = 63.39 C = 52.71 (=0.83 of A) If it is an ABC, then where are we in the weekly? Wave4...

Seems like a wave4 to me right now..... Lacks the impulsive push upwards normally associated when ED ends.....:confused: Mup, When the ED ends, should your ultimate target be the start of the ED instead? (ie SPX 951.95) :)

I did take a look after you mentioned it yesterday.... It is huge and definitely not of the scale I have ever encountered. So yes... it is very difficult to count.... (Gosh! We can't even count to FIVE without making mistakes!!!!!:D)
