*Ding* *Ding* *Ding* we have a winner! Free speech as long as it's reading the liberal script.

You say Fox is conservative biased and the others are unbiased. I say Fox is unbiased and the others are liberal biased. Compared to me you are liberal, therefore A) is the correct answer for you as to why you can't see liberal bias in the media.

People who can't spot liberal news bias without a research group telling them what to think are either: A) Liberal B) Biased C) Members of the Media D) Without Cognitive Ability

    Fair, Balanced, and Fact-Free

If you really feel that way, then why don't I see any of your posts arguing against the liberal news stations that only present the liberal point of view and that parcicipate in this type of behavior? That's not very fair and balanced is it?

I don't know if he still has a show, but Jesse Jackson used to have a show on one of the networks (CNN?). Al Sharpton who is running for president is interviewed regularly on various news networks. He also qualifies as a hate monger in my book. Cruz Bustamante, who ran for Governor in California...

No I don't agree with most of your post, which I thought would have been clear by my obvious tongue in cheek reply. I don't believe that Fox manipulates the news. I do believe that they have upset the balance of politics, but at least on TV news programs, there was no balance before Fox...

Yes I too have had a hard time finding a left-wing news network. After searching for months, I've finally come up with a short list of alternatives to Fox news that meet the liberal criteria. (in no particular order) Try ABC, PBS, CNN, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNBC, World Report, BBC, Bloomberg.

So bottom line, you found your system outperformed you, so you came to the conclusion to just follow the system?

Lessons Learned From Profitable System Development

Some who have posted here, trade around their systems. I'd like to hear how you approach this. The assumption I'm making is that by doing so, you are outperforming the system's signals (otherwise just auto-trade the system). For instance, do you take the entries but manage the exits manually...

Lessons Learned From Profitable System Development

I'm sharing the basic formula I used to create a decent countertrend system in hopes that others may glean something from this process. I'm fairly certain that anyone could use this process with a trend following system they are designing and get good results out of it as a countertrend system...

    ES Tape Reading 101

I guess I really asked the wrong question. Important is kind of vague. The question should have been, which side of the order is most influential in moving prices from level to level. And as traderkay mentions, it has to be the ones who are hitting the bids or offers, rather than the ones who...

    ES Tape Reading 101

My view is that it often happens when the bid and ask move on the Mini but they don't on the big contract, so it gets arbed back. It may be a large order in the big contract that is being worked that prevents the Mini from staying at that level. It might just be the normal action of price...

    ET Auto-Post Generator?

Pabst, When I started posting on ET over 1 1/2 years ago, I was a purely discretionary poster. In looking back on my post log at that time I realize now that I was really flying by the seat of my pants though, and I really had no idea what I was doing. Needless to say, my first 9 months'...

    A New Era in Papertrading

Good simulators are just a shade away from a live trading platform with regards to fill accuracy and position tracking in real time. I think that was the point of the first post in this thread. This is quite a step up from paper trading. As for the psychological aspects, I think too many lump...

    ES Tape Reading 101

In your view.... Which is more a important side of the order that gets filled: - the part of the equation that posts a bid or an offer (wants to get filled, but only at a given price), - or the side of the order that enters giving up the bid or offer, the one who is committed to...

Were any of the great scientists/inventors also religious?

If you really wanted to know you would have looked it up yourself and posted your results. Obviously you're trying to make a point, or are lazy.
