    Tape reading this way is still predicting. And the shorter the time frame the easier it is to manipulate. Especially orderbooks with hidden and cancelled orders. If someone tells you about their edge the odds are 90% they don´t tell the truth.

    I don´t think anyone leads all the time. If it did, market participants would notice and the difference would be gone. It´s a dynamic game with lots of arbitrage going on.

    Formikatrading I feel the same way. I have lost money earlier so i am quite scared of trading now. So i have been searching for every possible rule or guru to hold on to. But i know i can do it very well myself just looking at a chart and using proper money management.

    Hi Scientist I read that IB and most feeds use a snapshot instead of showing all ticks. This to save bandwith. I guess it affects market depths and tape also but i am not sure. Someone in another thread complained about it and thought softwares like Buttontrader that use IB data are not so...
