    Daytrading During A Recession

I was just wondering if daytrading (stocks) full time during a recession is a viable way to make a living. My main concern would be the level of volatility and volume during a recession. Maybe longtime traders like rs7 or Don Bright who post here on ET could give some insight into this. Thanks.

PFGbest ?cmon, somebody has to know

I had used them briefly a couple of years ago and I was charged $11/RT. Execution was fair but their software at that time was a little buggy. Could have improved by now. $14/RT though during this time does seem pricey considering the current competition.

    Performance

Thunder and Lightning don't even make .1% off trading because they DO NOT TRADE. They only make calls. Now if they are such great traders (Lightning allegedly made calls resulting in a profit of 29 points today and as far as I can remember they never had a losing day), why bother with a...

    Scalping and Trading

Allen, I have never traded the QQQs and have a quick question for you - do the Qs lag the futures or is it also a leading indicator for stocks? Also, does the uptick rule apply for the Qs? Thanks.

State Income Tax - Is it Worth it?

I just moved from CA (Los Angeles) to Las Vegas and can tell you that the move was well worth it from a state income tax perpective. It is more money in my pocket and in my personal situation, the cost of living here is a lot less than where I moved from. My wife and I get to keep the...

    What are some good brokers.

I seriously suggest you do your own research and not expect anyone to spoon feed you information. There are a lot of people here willing to help, but only after you try helping yourself first.
