Yeah, Island was the last really good ECN to be of any competiton to INCA....hence the buyout. Its funny how the ads for ISLD on CNBC say that 'we'made island (as traders). Yeah, well now we will get fucked sooner or later by the new owners of it.

It is a pretty good movie....but you should read the book by Leeson, its funny too, but has a real technical trading aspect to it that the movie obviously had tone down for the masses

Depends, INCA runs a very different system from a hardware persepctive. But Island is the fastest, very liquid, and INCA is pretty fast too, with some crazy liquidity. I actually find ARCA slow, ATTN slow and expensive, LSPD slow with lower liquidity. Expect the ISLD INCA merger to slow down...
