Deal or No Deal, Pricing model

I have never ever seen a deal that was fair value or better, there is NO reason for them to give away edge and they simply dont do it.

Deal or No Deal, Pricing model

No one said it was the average and I would guess that if its down to the last case they wont offer you fair value even in a 50/50 scenario.

Deal or No Deal, Pricing model

Gamma risk LOL.... ITs a simple fair value statistical question, the catch is none of the players can do fair value betting in their heads and non of the "deals" which get offered are fair value.

    Options 40 in 4

I am not really interested in their software, I have looked at it and it’s a nice package, but nothing all that special in particular. If I was to be shopping packages I would consider it. I am not knocking it by any means and for a retail investor it appears to be a nice package. I am not...

    Options 40 in 4

I am sure we appreciate your opinion but you tell me... When you see some puts trade in XYZ and you believe they're an opening trade how do you know if its bullish or bearish?

    Options 40 in 4

There is actually no real way to see which trades are opening buys and opening sells. Sorry but that data is just not available. That 4 in 40 crap has been around for years, no one who has a reasonable knowledge of options would waste their time with it.

    SQNM: suspicious call buying today

You're playing the penny stock game, when one of those things goes from 1 cent to 2 people like to scream about making 100% but its pretty meaningless. The same thing is here in scale, all the cheering and screaming you can muster he really means nothing. You started this thread crying for...

    SQNM: suspicious call buying today

IF you look at the IV on an indexed basis in this thing its doubled in the last 2 weeks, so I would say you're wrong on your statement. Also buying the cars which are pumped in terms of IV is going to be less efficient than just buying the stock. All the pumping you do here is not going to...

    SQNM: suspicious call buying today

Does this mean you're no longer crying for an SEC investigation? NO offense but since the bid offer spread is 3 or 4 cents wide much of the time in this stock and that represents 1% there is not a whole lot to get excited about. Not to mention this is an options forum, cheering for your postions...

    SQNM: suspicious call buying today

Its very simple to figure out how much a call would increase given a 50% move in the stock. Read my post again pay particular attention to where I said "real dollar terms" .... Just buy the 3 or 4 dollar stock.

    SQNM: suspicious call buying today

OTM calls are pure time decay, the stocks so cheap in real dollar terms if you wanted to be long for a long period of time just buy the stock. In order to aquire 30 to 35% BR would have to file with the SEC and announce their intentions so thats not something they normally do. You started...

    SQNM: suspicious call buying today

The stock was at 4.13 when this thread started so BR adding didnt do squat for it. Add to that you were crying for the SEC in the first post. There is nothing to investigate

    VIX Volume

dagnyt... is correct he just chose a poor way to express it. European options don’t trade under parity. They appear to trade under parity given that you’re applying the definition of parity which applies to American style options. The definition of parity on Euro style options is different...

anyone buy these PUTS at the end of the day today?

As soon as you see where they end up? LOL Is it important to post that stuff after they move? What is to be gained by others when you post stuff after the fact?

Where to find Option open interest segregated by investor type.?

It appears as if you started this thread to spam your web site. The "pain" or max pain gibberish has been around for years, its useless. Oh there is no segregated OI numbers
