More or less, I agree. The 3x per week options expirations play a part as well. There are just days where it will "pin" for hours. OTOH, the panic bid in the 10 year, the extreme weakness in Russell have been decent tells today that it wasn't going to be an easy BTFD back to 2800 type of day.

Agreed, they have great charts. There are specific charting tools that I haven't seen available elsewhere, they remind me a bit of PC Quote back in the late 90's, which also had great add-ons.

Completely agree. Trading outrights with overnight gaps (and like you said a 100 vol market) can make for some hellish "noise" even if one does ultimately get the direction correct. I can also see how and why Max got into this jam if he didn't capture what he deemed enough of the initial...

I'm seeing far too many people questioning Max's background, how long he's traded, how he f'd up with this assumption that the critic never makes errors, or has never had a lapse in judgment and reason that led to some hefty losses. Maybe some of these guys are that good, but I sincerely doubt...
