My ES for today. I had been expecting a point 3 to form after the tape from bars 61 and 62, but the long channel just kept going up! Since I was already long, this was not a problem, but it does show when you expect one thing and it doesn't happen, you have to re-evaluate the situation. Did...

That is a great observation cnms2. This afternoon is a good example of that. BTW, thanks for all your annotated charts with comments. They are very helpful to see the logic behind the actions.

Here is my 15-min ES. Oddly, I'm finding that by monitoring on a coarser resolution, I am able to see changes much clearer. For example, when observing the 15-min, I always draw the tapes. Once a point 2 is established, I know that we must get a point 3. I find that this is very helpful to...

Here is my 15-min ES chart so far today. I am finding that maintaining a 15-min chart in addition to my 5-min chart helps me keep the big picture in mind (so I don't go too far down the "rabbit hole.")

I presume you mean my brackets for my OCO order... I use a very complex eyeball algorithm :p

Yes it worked out ok. I got executed at 1540.75 and closed out at 1537. I didn't reverse however. I was tending to some option positions, which ironically I adjusted around 1:00 to increase my positive deltas, because I had prepared for the market to go up. So I'm happy!:D

Sort of like the 25 year old applying for a job. When asked why his resume says 20 years of experience, he responds "overtime." :p

Man you've been at a long time. I average maybe 5 hours per day x 20 days per month x 8 months now. That's only 800 hours. You definitely get the bull-dog determination award!

I couldn't agree more. Over and over throughout this thread, it's been said, "Its the journey, not the destination." If you want to learn this method, you have to learn to "see" on your own. No one can do that for you. Sure this thread is here to provide guidance and encouragement, but the...
