You're talking about the futures being down right now correct? As in "if tomorrow morning we gap down..." Bad play today. Overtrading and deer in headlights (that and my quotes aren't exactly real-time) caught me off. Risk management made the loss manageable... Today's lesson: *ALWAYS*...

Damn, what a crazy day to end this crazy week. Glad I parked my money into options, and if they're underwater (which they are), I'll be holding onto the position until this whole thing settles. Up or down I don't care, as long as the damn thing doesn't move 10 points in 15-30 seconds 5-6...

I agree, I got reamed by the 12:00 surge, lost track of my analysis and saw Spectre's "Buy Buy Buy" post. Got emotional and sold at the very top.:mad: I then went long when it fell to 1158 for the first time and a minute later it jumped 10pts. Sold and backed off from this crazy, crazy...

Is this setting up for an ADU? It ran up and is just holding here, possibly creating a bull flag. I got hit pretty bad yesterday. I anticipated a signal on the 60-min and that signal never happened. Of course that was just minutes before the selloff from hell. :( Oh the joys of staring...

The best my ass. I've been trading with IB for over a month. This morning (6.20am) I had an execution go from out of nowhere. My computer wasn't even on (I was set up to go to work). Nothing margin related, as I had only 2 ES contracts on 20K+. Now this evening I had a limit order set...

Cool thanks! I guess I can use it as confirmation. The ES has either lost its premium and/or is weighting down on the other indicators. On the 15Min chart it definitely wants to go down, but on the 60Min the MACD is about to go positive (about but not yet...), which is the opposite...
