Anybody notice that we closed at support 3 days in a row and every morning we gapped up? Feels like a spring under us. We could break out down from the prior 2 days of congestion but I think the odds are much more favorable for a BO up. New highs? I hope so.

I have us at support but the volume on this down half cycle is incredible. If things sequence as usual, I would anticipate the beginning of the week as lateral and then at the end of the week a nice push back up to start a new half cycle to break the highs of the year. If we go lateral...

As I read over what I had wrote, I realized that it was not clear. My hope is to chart sectors on a Long Term basis so that I may pick the best stocks for an Intermediate Term move when the sector breaks out. Having a high RS along with EPS to have a broader analysis makes sense...

LOL. thanks. Essentially, my hope is to chart sectors on a LT Basis so that I may pick the great stocks in each sector that will make nice IT moves. I am sure EPS and RS fit into the puzzle somehow. I just need a lot more facetime.

Energy sector happened to be the strongest today even though the overall market was pretty weak. I entered crzo and gmxr this morning. gmxr at 36.85. crzo does not have great earnings eventhough I bought it anyhow.

This sector 6 months ago was very strong but lately has been a real dog sector wise. Its current RS is 182 out of 197. Anybody else think this sector is setting up to break out? I personally like HOV and TOL for the next couple of months.

I was wondering if anybody knew where I could find historical Sector RS. My current data provider only gives me 3 distinct choices; last week, 3 months ago, and 6 months ago. Thanks either way.
