THEY'RE THE ONES WHO MAKE THE DECISIONS ON WHO'S FEED TO SUPPLY. IF THE FEED ISN'T DEPENDABLE THEY NEED TO SHOP AROUND. IT'S A PART OF RUNNING A PROPER BROKERAGE.

market manipulation is there really difference?

It's a matter of knowing how they work. The more liquid the asset the more there are. Stocks like TSLA, AAPL, and even currencies like EURUSD are chock full of them. That's why they don't move much unless the market makers/Algos pull their liquidity. They're the reason why when you place an...

Now with T+1, can proceeds from a stock sale be used to buy another stock the same day w/o margin?

Are there market implication differences between Buy-stops and Buy-limits?

The other side of the coin is before the execution. The placement of limit orders reveal the intentions of the algos. If you place a buy limit the price will begin to back off and induce you move it up hap-haphazardly in order to move your stop up, exposing it higher up in the ATR and more...

Are there market implication differences between Buy-stops and Buy-limits?

I'm asking in terms of the market's response after placing either a buy/sell stop vs. a buy/sell limit. I'm beginning to think that algos do not like market orders. I can actually see a difference in price action although sometimes subtle and sometimes extremely apparent when placing the two...

Any futures platforms have hidden stop feature?

I am using mt5 currently and have all the plugins etc., but wanted to try some other platforms. My broker has CQG products, Quant tower, multinet, Rtrader, Zlan, Rithmic and tradview... All are free versions. So I'm wondering if any out of the list have the capability. Thanks
