    DSL Speed Test?

It depends. Some DSL systems max out at 256, some as high as 768.

    Swing sites

Great book - Master Swing Trader. Excellent site too. There's one called timingwallstreet.com but lately it's been devoid of real good trades; just market commentary and a message board. Mike Swanson's the owner.

    Esignal Question

Andy or Scott - Will the gold version of esig have a way to show bid-ask prices in advanced charts? Right now I have to use a standard chart with the quote window turned on, then overlay an advanced chart on top of it but not covering the std chart's quote window. A real painus in the...

    Aphexcoil defends himself

You know, Aphie's first bunch of posts were thought-provoking and were on great topics. I had subscribed to all his threads. Now it seems like he's degenerated into the same shit-slinging that goes on with a lot of other posters. Every new thread now has to wind up into a discussion either...

    Best and Worst CNBC Commercials

Yes! Wasn't that a parody or something, kinda like the Orkin ads where they show a fictitious company then a huge bug scrolls across the screen? Then the Orkin guy zaps the bug and it drops. The first time I saw that ad I instinctively looked to the floor to see where the bug went LOL

Favorite TV programs during the day

CNBC IS the Comedy Channel :D I glance at their ticker on occasion, listen to Art Cashin's dry humor but that's about it. Daytime or last night's Yankee games on YES take precedence

    JT's ES Trades

NihabaAshi - great post. Remember - the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. I have that taped to my monitor.

    JT's ES Trades

Funny - that's been my thought exactly on more than one occasion in my trading career :D Some days it pays to sweep floors at MCD instead. Keep your head up - it'll get better. You're on the right track.

Set the date for longer than the standard 10 days then check your sent folder. You'll see a lot more stuff there.

    Always in Trading

The problem with always in trading is that on a normal multi-bar pullback your system may call for an exit and reversal, then to be met with another as soon as the original trend continues. You can give back much of your gains this way. I'm backtesting a 30-minute / 13period SMA plan right now...

CNBC & Bloomberg made charts credible

They have a heavy white line at the hard right edge that obscures the most-recent data, especially on gap downs you can't even see the damn price.

    what is your top-ten stocks-list ?

PHISEL - Beta refers to the volatility of a stock releative to a standard index (usually the S&P500) A stock with a beta of 1.0 will move intraday the same percentage as the S&P. A stock whose beta is 2 will have twice the intraday volatility percentage-wise. These are the daytraders you want.
