10% a year, it is a joke. All you need to make this is to buy S&P 500 Vanguard index. It returned average 20% over the last 20 years, and 10% over the last 70 years. No trading/thinking required.

Most of retail brokers call themselves market makers. But real liquidity is only in intra bank market.

I only day trade, when I leave PC I am flat. My positions vary from few min to about 10 min. Occasionally I might hold one for few hours if it is deep into black, and then I manually trail stops.
