Anyone else having this problem? I know a user of StockWatch Pro which uses the Qchart feed is having the same problem, but I was wondering if other Qchart users are in the same boat that I'm in.

I'm having the same problem with Qcharts, my understanding is that StockWatchPro uses Qcharts for its feed. Looks like this may not get resolved till tomorrow when Qcharts staff returns.:(

I've been looking at using the A/D line as a confirmation before trade entry on the ES, but am not sure if the A/D is supposed to be coincident, leads, or lags the ES. I'd like to hear from others on how they use this indicator in their trading. Thanks!

I'd really like to see the person who is responsible for IRS Compliance Reporting at IB explain what prevents IB from providing a more customer friendly 1099 for futures (that accounts for commissions in the net gain/loss on line 1/2). def, is that possible?

def, thanks for your response - but my concern is not about tax advice. What I'm really asking is why can't IB report profit/loss net AFTER commissions as done by other brokers? It looks like IB customers would really like that! What prevents IB from responding positively to this customer...

Sorry I didn't say it right the first time. I meant to say that commissions have to be added back in to calculate your gain/loss. I still question whether the number your report on 6781 raises a red flag for the IRS and if they will get the commission number from IB.

Since IB includes commissions in the 1099 net gain/loss (meaning you have to subtract commissions to get the real net gain/loss), doesn't this create a red flag with the IRS?

One more question while I'm waiting to hear from someone who's used Tradekeeper. IB doesn't net out the commission on the annual statement, does Tradekeeper have a problem with that?

2003 was my first year of really active trading (2000 + transactions) and since I'm still paying my dues to trading school:( , I'm not keen on spending $300 for Tradelog. Has anyone used Tradekeeper with IB for 2003 taxes, and did it work out OK?

Does anyone know of software that includes a zigzag indicator for charts with both price and % filter? I looked at the documentation for Linnsoft and noticed that it has a % filter, with no mention of price.

What software do you use that generates the above data (53% of moves being less than 3 points)? Appreciate the excellent thread!
