There is no fear in the present moment. Most of us come to trading to make money but discover we need to learn how to free our consciousness from fear before we can open the treasure chest. To cleanse our consciousness means avoiding criticism, aggression, violence, thieving, falsehoods, double...

Thank you Goodday for your kind words. Nice of you to say. These days I am happy just to help a sincere honest trader with the occasional snippet of wisdom learned over many years of digging for gold. What is more important is you are becoming a GREAT PLAYER.

...another reason to keep going Goodday is your PF is currently approx 2.64 ( based on figures for August only) and is based on at least 30 trades. Now if you also set a goal to get it to 3.0 by the end of the month and then hold it there for September...consistency is on it's way! ...yet...

Let me throw this at you Goodday. I personally never set a goal as a percentage return. I am a trader not an investor. I work for tick profits. I look for ticks per day and average ticks per trade. A percentage goal could be reached due to some big fruit dropping into my lap. Windfall profits...

Excellent work. Whilst I understand your thinking on stopping trading after achieving your goal I have found that consistency is achieved after 'time spent in the market with positions on'. So the question really is why stop at 10%, just redefine the goal? You are trading well, keep it rolling...

Now finally I want to see if the strategy has a deadly weakness. Will she blow up over 2,000 trades with unlimited lots? Every single trader who has been wiped out either did not have a profitable strategy or did not use lot size correctly. If it does not blow up I simply adjust to a level I...

You are right. It is VERY conservative by design. However I can open the throttle and let it rip when I feel like it. In the end I simply get to the level of exposure where I want to trade. So capital is never an issue. Strategy tied to compounding or position sizing makes profits. U need both...

Compounding is the key to staying and growing thru all the markets seasons. Starting with a nominal capital base, a good strategy I used took 30 trades to reach 2 lots. 12 trades to reach 3 lots, 3 trades to reach 4 lots, 5 trades to reach 5 lots, 6 trades to reach 6 lots, and so on. The...

Scaling in is usually practised by traders using divergence signals, or where the market retraces to support and adding to position is a good plan. Obviously a very low use of capital and treating the scaling as a single trade within strict rules is fine as long as it does not destroy your PF...

I have made a deep study of money management over the years. This study involves thousands of trades. Here are some valuable numbers that may help you know if you have a good strategy. 1. PF will be above 2.0 over 500 trades at least. This is all you need to know about a trader if you want to...

About 10 years ago I did a trading workshop for 10 traders and one strategy I taught was the gap trade. I gave the rules, the money management and the stop. Everyone saw examples of it and liked it. That morning one of the markets actually triggered the gap trade. All 10 traders had...

Hi Goodday, If you post your net gains and your gross losses, thus showing your PF I can add a few pieces of wisdom your figures might tell me. To know how you are really going I would need to know your PF, then your CR could be brought into play. But only if you want to. Well done...

For me it is Net Gain/Gross Loss for a truthful Profit Factor. If the manual says different it was not written by a trader.

The profit factor is simply net gain divided by gross loss. Needs to above 2.0 to be called a trader. Above 3.0 to be a super trader and above 5.0 to be Master trader. The CR is more complex maths and I have a software program I wrote to work that out. Needs to be above .50. Not sure what...

Goodday, By arrived I mean a place where you will not be someone's lunch because your money management is so controlled it is impossible to happen. I met an old trader who told me using his money management rules it was impossible for him to ever get wiped out. The key he said was in...

Goodday it is interesting to observe your mindset as a trader unfolding. Even though you say you don't have an edge, I would say that "YOU" are your edge. Within your inner computer there are all sorts of calculations going on when focused on your market all based on implicit learning, or simple...
