I've found forex to be a great market for swing and long term trading only. I made a mistake early on trying to daytrade it....big mistake. Probably very few successful forex daytraders out there.... so no daily posts to that P&L thread..... my 2 cents

Many NYSE tape readers also pay attention to the charts. These traders don't trade off the charts however. I'm beginning to wonder with the hybrid system will it create traders who make the all or the majority of their trading decisions from technicals(charts) alone? I guess it is too early...

I've used mark to market for my stock trading from 2002 on. In 2005 I also traded futures for the first time and lost money. Can I just add this loss to my stock trading gains on my Sched C and combine them and put a total on line 1? I never elected mark to market for my futures trading...

All I can say is the western world better wake the f up. 9/11 and the European terrorist attacks didn't do it apparently. Having muslims in your country is just plain SUICIDAL. For the vast majority, their allegience will NEVER be to their new home in fact they may just try to blow it up......
